MBS’s concern over Govt’s stoic silence on demands of Pandits

JAMMU, July 2I: Magam Bangil Sabha (MBS) has expressed concern over the dillydallying policies of Central Government in addressing the long pending demands of the displaced Pandits especially recognising the genocide of the community.
The Sabha in a meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of its president, Raj Nath Raina said that the Pandits had a lot of expectation from the BJP Government at Centre that it will redress the long standing issue of KPs leading an exiled life for last over 32 years by settling and rehabilitating them in a separate Homeland in Kashmir in accordance with 1991 Margdarshan resolution of Panun Kashmir (PK) which it said is the only viable solution to the Kashmir as well as Pandits’ issue.
The meeting also expressed concern over stoic silence maintained by the Government over the demand regarding enhancement of cash relief to relief holders and demanded onetime compensation to over aged youth besides, removal of encroachments from migrants’ property and formation of Board for protection of Hindu Shrines and Temples in Valley.
The meeting fully endorsed the demand of the PM package and other Hindu employees posted in Kashmir and urged the Government to concede their demand of relocation to Jammu. The meeting expressed concern over denial of flour to migrants by some ration depots in Jagti and other camps and sought immediate intervention of Relief Commissioner in the matter.
