JAMMU, Dec 4: Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali today announced a landmark achievement of performing over 1,500 kidney transplants since its inception, becoming the first private healthcare facility in the region to offer such advanced transplant services.
As one of the fastest-growing kidney transplant centers in North India, Max Hospital, Mohali performs more than 100 transplants annually, setting a high standard for quality care and innovation.
The Kidney Transplant Unit at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali has established itself as a leader in tackling complex and challenging cases. These include ABO-incompatible transplants (across different blood groups), pediatric transplants, second-time transplants, swap transplants, and robotic-assisted transplants. Recently, the team also achieved a rare medical feat by performing a third kidney transplant on a patient with two prior graft rejections.
