KARGIL, Jan 14: A massive protest rally was held in Kargil today in support of Imam Ayatollah Khamenei and the Islamic Republic of Iran, drawing significant participation from across the district.
The rally witnessed the active involvement of men, women and youth, reflecting broad public participation. The protest was held against the policies of the United States and Israel, with participants expressing solidarity with the Muslim people of Iran. The rally commenced after congregational prayers at Jamia Masjid Kargil, from where demonstrators marched through the main streets of the town.
Carrying placards and banners, participants raised slogans highlighting unity, resistance and support for Iran’s leadership. The procession concluded at the Old Taxi Stand, Kargil, where speakers addressed the gathering and reiterated their stance against what they termed as injustices faced by the Muslim world.
Organizers stated that the rally aimed to convey a clear message of unity and solidarity, emphasizing shared religious and ideological bonds. The event remained peaceful throughout, with participants maintaining discipline during the march.
