JAMMU, Jan 17: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Anil Kumar Masoom here today inaugurated lane and drain works and 50 ft pole for hoisting Tri-Colour at Pacca Danga Children Park in Ward number 10.
The lane-drain work shall be completed at a cost of Rs. 5 lakh and the lanes and drains were in dilapidated condition since long due to which residents of the area were facing a lot of problems.
Speaking on the occasion Masoom appealed to the general public to cooperate with JMC in various development works undertaken by the local body in Jammu city.
He urged upon the residents to avoid single use plastic and polythene in daily life and stop throwing debris, garbage etc in lanes and drain to make the city neat and clean.
