JAMMU, May 26: A mason was today killed on the spot after falling from the roof top of a house in Kunjwani area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the mason identified as Mohd Rashid (50) son of Mohd Haziullah (Bihar), at present Kunjwani, was killed on the spot this evening after he fell from the roof top of the house of one Mohinder Singh son of Balwant Singh, resident of Hari Vihar (Kunjwani), while working.
He said the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for post mortem while a case in this connection was registered at police station Gangyal and proceedings initiated under 174 CrPC.
