JAMMU, Sept 15: A mason died today after falling from 2nd floor of a building in Sainik Colony area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the deceased has been identified as Rajinder Tanti son of Jagdish Tanti, resident of Bihar. He was presently living in Sector 3, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
The official said that Rajinder, who was a mason by profession, was working at House number 662, Sector E, Sainik Colony when he accidently fell down from 2nd floor and died on the spot.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while Sainik Colony police had taken cognizance of the matter,” he added.
