Masked burglars loot woman at gunpoint in Rajbagh

JAMMU, Jan 27: In a shocking incident, four masked men armed with sharp-edged weapons, including swords, looted a woman in her home in Rajbagh late on January 26th night.
The crime occurred around midnight at the house of Ashu Jamwal, located just 300 meters from the Rajbagh Police Station on the National Highway.
The victim, Ashu Jamwal, recounted the terrifying ordeal, stating that while her family was asleep, the burglars broke into their house from the rear side.
She claimed, the intruders held a sword to her head and demanded she hand over all her valuables.
Fearing for her life, Ashu complied and opened her Almirah, surrendering gold and cash worth Rs 2.5 lakh, along with a licensed firearm.
According to her, the criminals warned her not to contact the police and threw her mobile phone away before fleeing the scene.
Ashu immediately informed the police, but by the time they arrived, the burglars had already escaped.
A police team visited the crime scene and has launched an investigation.
The victim has urged local authorities to enhance vigilance, as there have been several similar incidents of theft and burglary in the area recently.
The police are currently working to track down the suspects and ensure the safety of residents in the locality.
