JAMMU, Mar 22: Remembering the martyrs of Chitti Singh Pura Srinagar, who attained martyrdom on March 20, 2000, a Maha Gurmat Samgam was held at Gurdwara Guru Angad Dev Ji, Preet Nagar, Jammu.
Eminent Ragis and Pracharak attended the programme and recited Shabads from Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Bhai Surjeet Singh Khala threw light on the teachings and life of Sikh Gurus while RTI activist S Balwinder Singh talked about the Chitti Singh Pura massacre.
Members of Gurdwara Management Committee and Baba Banda Singh Ji Bahadur Sewadar Sabha also spoke on the occasion. A large number of Sangat attended the programme, which was followed by Langar.
Prominent among those, who attended the programme, included Manjeet Singh, Harmanjot Singh, Harpreet Singh, Gaganpreet Singh, Jaspreet Kaur, Harpreet Singh Royal and others.
