This has reference to killing of three policemen in Kashmir valley. The killing of these police personnel is a manifestation of frustration in militants who received severe set back in recent times.
The attack on unarmed police personnel is an act of cowardice, and desperation on the part of militants to come into lime light and to make their presence felt.
The act will not dampen the spirit of security forces who have been fighting militancy for last 26 years, and have made numerous sacrifices for upholding sovereignty of the country.
The security personnel have been subjected to numerous odd situations during these years. Despite taxing times, they have been performing their duty selflessly. They have been killed, crippled, and humiliated by militants and their sponsors.
It is because of their sacrifices that people are performing their day-to-day duties in an environment free from fear and harassment. A big salute to these securitymen.
