JAMMU, Dec 8: General Zorawar Singh Trust is going to celebrate the martyrdom day of the historic warrior on December 12, 2025 at University of Jammu.
Addressing a press conference here today Diksha Kaluria and Ria Kaluria-great granddaughters of the legendary warrior said that the day will be celebrated with theme ‘Har Ghar Shiksha’ and all help will be provided to the needy students to further continue their education.
“It is only because of General Zorawar Singh that Pakistan occupied J&K and Ladakh are parts of our country,” they maintained inviting people from all walks of life to attend the tribute paying function on December 12 at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium at University of Jammu.
“After the martyrdom of General Zorawar Singh, his enemies constructed his Samadhi where women visit even today to pray for motherhood of a child like the great warrior,” they continued.
They said that the Trust has been helping deserving students since the year 2019 with all possible help.
