SAMBA, Nov 13 : Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh and Former Minister today inaugurated a series of road development projects under the CITY & TOWN 2025–26 and District CAPEX 2025–26 schemes.
The initiatives aim to enhance road infrastructure and improve last-mile connectivity in the region, benefiting residents of several adjoining villages.
Under the CITY & TOWN 2025–26 Scheme, two major works were inaugurated which included macadamization of the link road from OSK to Ayushman Arogya Mandir Mawa and link towards Panchayat Ghar Mawa at an approved cost of ¹ 12.00 lakh, and macadamization of the link road from Rajpura to Sarthian and allied links at an approved cost of ¹ 18.00 lakh. These projects will significantly improve road quality and accessibility in the area.
Under the District CAPEX 2025–26 Scheme, construction of the road from Main Chowk Rajpura to Ditch was also inaugurated, with an approved cost of ¹ 12.00 lakh. The project is expected to ease transportation for local commuters and strengthen the rural road network.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manyal reaffirmed his commitment to the holistic development of the Ramgarh constituency. He said that improved infrastructure remains a key priority to ensure better connectivity, economic opportunities, and convenience for the common people. He appreciated the cooperation of the local administration and engineers for their timely execution of the works.
Prominent among those present were AEE R&B (PWD) Department Samba, Former BDC Chairman, Radha Sham, president Asha Rani, and local residents who expressed gratitude to Dr. Manyal for his continuous efforts toward the development of the region. The event concluded with collective appreciation for the Government’s vision of inclusive growth and infrastructural progres.
