JAMMU, Aug 3: Large number of people here today left BJP and other political parties and joined BSP.
The new entrants were welcomed into the party by BSP J&K president, Darshan Rana and other party leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Rana said that dozens of people from Jammu North Assembly Constituency have joined BSP and their joining will strengthen the party.
He also said that people are continuously joining BSP after being influenced by the policies of BSP and in coming days more and more people will be connected with BSP in such programmes.
BSP State vice president, Charanjeet Chargotra; coordinator Poonch-Rajouri, Haji Shak Mohammad; general secretary, Raja Singh and district president Jammu, Tarsem Lal along with other party leaders were also present on this occasion.
The new entrants claimed that only BSP talks about the welfare of backward and dalit class.
