Jammu, Mar 29: union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh Sunday expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for complimenting the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team for the historic Ranji Trophy victory.
“Thanks PM @narendramodi ji for complimenting the #JammuAndKashmir Cricket Team for the historic Ranji victory,” Dr Singh posted on X.
He further wrote, “Your words of encouragement will go a long way in boosting the morale of the youth and providing a fillip to the sports culture in this peripheral region.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday lauded the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team for winning the maiden Ranji Trophy title in his monthly radio broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baat’.
He also made a special mention of J&K skipper Paras Dogra and new pace sensation Aaqib Nabi, who took 60 wickets in the Ranji Trophy season.
