UDHAMPUR, Dec 14: Former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia visited Reasi assembly constituency and village Jungle Gali of district Udhampur where the locals apprised him of the problems being faced by them.
The villagers told Mankotia that Jungle Gali village does not have its own identity as no such village in the name of Jungle Gali exists in Revenue records with the result that people of the area have been deprived of facilities like electricity, water and road till today.
The locals demanded that Jungle Gali should be included in Udhampur Assembly constituency. A doctor should be appointed in the dispensary while the problem of water and electricity should also be solved, they appealed Mankotia.
Mankotia assured people of the village that he would take up their issues before the higher officials of the departments so that the people living in the village could get rid of the problems.
