CHENANI, Feb 21: MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia here today inaugurated a vital irrigation Kool from Bajalta to Palian in Ossu Panchayat.
He also organised a public grievance redressal camp in which many locals participated and officers from all major departments also remained present.
During camp, people raised several issues concerning electricity supply, drinking water availability, road connectivity and damages caused by recent floods. Concerns regarding shortage of ambulance services, agriculture-related challenges, forest issue and transport connectivity were also discussed.
Many grievances were addressed and resolved on the spot through coordinated directions issued to the concerned departments and the officials assured time-bound action on remaining matters.
Speaking on the occasion, Mankotia emphasized that the government officials must reach the doorstep of the people and the citizens should not be compelled to repeatedly visit offices for basic services.
He further said that such outreach programmes aim to strengthen public trust, accelerate development works, and ensure effective implementation of welfare schemes at grassroots level.
Locals expressed gratitude towards MLA Mankotia for swift redressal of their issues.
