VIJAYPUR, July 12: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Manjit Singh today criticized the Union Government for ignoring the refugees/displaced persons of Chhamb, 1965 and 1971.
He said that the refugees have been facing problems from decades but the NDA Government in Centre did nothing to give them their rights.
He said that it was the fault of the State Government which did not send the package to the then Union Government for release of required money.
Expressing hope, he said, Omar Abdullah should not delay it further and take a decision in coming days.
