Manipur martyr

Sir,
Refer to the news about “Manipur martyr’s family” DE dated Oct 2. It shows us the hard reality beneath the superficial realms of our inner psyche, presenting only an appearance without any substance or significance. This further compels us to think about other dimension of our personality which reflects nothing more than a callous indifference to the sufferings of the families of our martyred soldiers, who always put their patriotic fervor ahead of their own life, for whom the only agenda is to protect their country and its people from external aggression and natural calamities from time to time, whose only condensed piece of wisdom remains “not to say why, but to do and die”.
This is the high time to change our perception and  policy towards jawans of our state who get martyred in any part of India. Why should our state discriminate or give expression to a specific difference that sees only the place of their martyrdom not the cause behind it. Though we can never unwind ourselves from their debt of gratitude, yet by taking care of their families afterwards by providing them with something that gives support or strength and above all the purpose may get us closer to our own conscience.
Yours etc….
