JAMMU, Sept 6: A man succumbed to his burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, a man identified as Sunny (30) son of Ashok Kumar, resident of Gorkha Nagar, was shifted here at GMC&H on September 2 with about 90% burn injuries after he allegedly attempted suicide by setting himself ablaze at his residence.
Tonight at about 3 am, he succumbed to his injuries. After conducting post mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
