Man stabbed to death over Rs 1000 debt in Miran Sahib

JAMMU, Oct 10: A 47-year-old man was stabbed to death over non-payment of Rs 1000 in the Miran Sahib area here, officials said.
Narinder Singh, son of late Prithpal Singh of Simbal Camp, Miran Sahib, was allegedly attacked by two brothers, Tanvir Singh and Bhavneet Singh, residents of Ward Number 1, Simbal Camp, between 9 and 10 PM on Thursday, they said.
“The assault left him with severe injuries. He was rushed to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him dead on arrival,” officials further said.
A police official said the accused brothers were arrested from Bishnah town today.
According to him, a case under the relevant sections of the law has also been registered against them at Police Station Miran Sahib, and further investigation is underway.
