Man slips to death from mountain

BHADERWAH, Mar 20: A 30-year old man today allegedly slipped to death from a mountain at Kondhra area of Bhalla.
According to a police spokesperson, the deceased along with his three companions had gone for a picnic to mountainous Kondhra region falling under the jurisdiction of Bhalla police station, where incidentally he fell from a mountain and died on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Arshad Hussain son of Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar, a resident of Bhalla while his companions have been identified as Abu-ul-Alam, a resident of Duga in Bhalla and Mushtaq Ahmed and Rehamtullah Malik, both residents of Bhalla. The body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs after conducting post mortem at nearest Government hospital.
After registering a case under 174 CrPC, the Bhalla police has started investigations and also questioned the companions of the deceased.
