JAMMU, Aug 26: A man slipped into Ranbir canal and died near Babliana area here today, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Sukhdeep Singh, son of Balbir Singh, a resident of Jeevan Nagar District Jammu.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for autopsy, which will be conducted tomorrow.
Satwari Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
