UDHAMPUR, Oct 28: A man allegedly tried to end his life by setting himself ablaze at his residence in Samroli, falling under the jurisdiction of Chenani police station.
As per police sources, a man identified as Gardhari Lal (32), son of Kham Raj, of Samroli allegedly tried to end his life by setting himself ablaze at his residence in Samroli.
The victim was rushed to Sub District Hospital (SDH), Chenani and was later referred to District Hospital Udhampur, where his condition was stated to be out of danger, when reports last came in.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
