RAJOURI, July 5: The police arrested a person along with `Desi’ liquor produced in local working still.
Official sources said that a team of police headed by SHO Dharamsal, Amit Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera, Brijesh Sharma during routine patrolling in Solki village, noticed a man moving with a plastic container who started to move suspiciously after noticing cops.
Sensing suspicion, the accused was detained and the container was found filled with 4.5 litres of Desi liquor.
The man identified as Madan Lal alias Khem Raj, son of Babu Ram, resident of Solki has been arrested and a case FIR 42/19 U/S 48(a) Excise Act has been registered against him.
