JAMMU, Oct 1: A 55-year-old individual died after he was hit by an unknown vehicle at Malik Market area here today.
Nannai Ahirwar (55) son of Kahua Ahirwar of Madhya Pradesh at present Channi Himmat was hit by an unknown vehicle at Malik Market, leaving him seriously injured, a police official said.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where he succumbed during the treatment, he said.
While the body of the deceased individual has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital, a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at concerned police station and further investigation taken up.
