JAMMU, July 22: A 30-year-old man died in a road accident at Gandhi Nagar area here today.
A scooty (JK02CP-3999) was hit by an Eco Sport car near Petrol Pump outside Gandhi Nagar Police Station late on Tuesday night, resulting in on-the-spot death of one Sandeep Sharma son of Ved Prakash of Satwari, Chattha, a police official said.
The body of the deceased, who was an MR by profession, has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination while a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar, he said.
