JAMMU, Sept 3: A man was injured in group clash in Chak Avtara village on Bishnah ring road here.
As per police sources, a group clash took place in Chak Avtara village on Bishnah ring road owing to some old enmity.
During clash, one party attacked opponent party with sharp edged weapons and also opened firing in which one person received injuries. The assailants managed to escape from the spot.
However, on getting information police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). Later, he was shifted to a private hospital outside J&K.
The injured was identified as Mohammad Mansha, son of Mohammad Mirza, a resident of Bathera District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 148/2022 under sections 307, 147 and 148 IPC, 3/25 and 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
