SRINAGAR, May 10: One person was injured when a bear attacked him in the jungle area of Shalgund, Lalpora Kupwara today.
Police spokesperson said a bear attacked one Ghulam Nabi Dar, son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Shalgund, Lalpora Kupwara while he was on way through the jungle area in compartment No 4.
He received injuries in the attack and was shifted to SDH Sogam where from he has been referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for further treatment.
