RAJOURI, Oct 25: A villager was seriously injured after he was attacked by a full grown bear in the upper reaches of Kotranka area of district Rajouri today.
The incident took place when the victim, Ali Mohd, son of Mohd Yaqoob, resident of Swari in Kotranka, was returning home from Nandan Dhok, at the higher reaches of Kotranka area. A bear ambushed him on way and caused serious injuries on face and other parts of the body.
The victim rescued by other members, was rushed to Kotranka hospital and later referred to District Hospital Rajouri.
