JAMMU, Sept 5: A man today sustained about 25% burn injuries on his body due to an accidental fire at his residence here in Talab Tillo area.
A police spokesperson said that the man identified as Anish (31), son of Dev Raj, a resident of Bharat Nagar, Talab Tillo received burning injuries, when a mysterious fire broke out in the kitchen of his house while he was cooking food.
He said the injured man was immediately shifted by the family members to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station and further investigations are on.
