JAMMU, Sept 4: A man was attacked and injured with a knife by another person over some land issue in Jhajjar Kotli area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, Chain Chand (58) son of Finu Ram, resident of Balara near National Highway in Jhajjar Kotli had an argument with Rakesh Kumar son of Girdhari Lal, resident of Jhajjar Kotli, at Balara over some land issue.
He said that soon arguments turned into clash and both attacked each other with fists. He said in a fit of rage, Rakesh attacked Chain Chand with a knife and left him badly injured. The injured man was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, a case under relevant sections was registered at police station Jhajjar Kotli in this connection while the accused was at large.
