JAMMU, Aug 7: Bishnah Police have arrested a man for carrying a sharp-edged weapon in a public area.
Police sources said acting on a tip-off, police set up a checkpoint and stopped the suspect during routine checking.
They said the accused, identified as Harsh Gill, a resident of Chak Chua, was found in possession of the weapon during frisking.
He was accordingly taken into custody, and a case has been registered, they said, adding that further investigation is underway.
