JAMMU, Nov 7: Bishnah Police today apprehended a man in possession of a sharp-edged weapon in village Sikanderpur.
The accused, identified as Abdul Hamid, son of Mohd. Bashir and resident of Gidder Galiya, was intercepted during routine area domination and patrolling after he was found moving under suspicious circumstances.
Police recovered a ‘toka’ from his possession and seized it on the spot. A case under FIR Number 127/2025 U/S 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah. The accused has been arrested, and further investigation is underway.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of SHO Bishnah, SDPO R S Pura and SP Headquarters Jammu.
