JAMMU, Sept 5: Channi Himmat police arrested a man along with 40 pouches of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, police team from Channi Himmat police station arrested a man and recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Balbir Singh, son of Jagmaz Singh of Sainik Colony.
A case under FIR Number 78/15 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Channi Himmat police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Channi Himmat police station Inspector Sajad Haider made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq Manhas, SP South Uday Bhaskar Billa and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
