JAMMU, Mar 18: Jammu Police today arrested a drug peddler with 6 to 7 grams of heroin like substance from Bus Stand area.
“During routine checking, a team of Police Station Bus Stand headed by SHO Inspector Vikas Dogra apprehended one Auto driver namely Rahul Dogra son of late Rattan Lal, resident of Rehari (Jammu) and recovered 6 to 7 grams of heroin like narcotic substance from his possession,” a police spokesman said.
He said a case in this connection was registered at Police Station Bus Stand and further investigation started while the Auto of the accused was also seized on the spot. More arrests are likely to be made in the case, the spokesman added.
