Srinagar, Dec 11: Police today said it has arrested an accused who misled police about theft of his Scooty from summer capital here.
A police spokesman said that police arrested an accused namely Ishtiyaq Ahmad Wani of Hadoora Alesteng area who mislead police in case FIR number 89/2017 under Section 379 RPC (theft of Scooty).
“The stolen Scooty was recovered from his possession and was seized by Traffic Police at Jahangir Chowk under Section 207 RPC,” he said.
