POONCH, Oct 30: One person has been arrested for possessing narcotics substance, police said today.
According to police sources, Poonch police intercepted one pedestrian namely Muneer Hussain son of Mohd Hussain resident of Sathra tehsil, Mandi at Bus Stand Poonch, during frisking of the individual recovered “charas” from his possession.
In this connection a case FIR number 155/2015 Under Section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Poonch.
The recovery was made by Jatinder Raina, SHO Police Station, Poonch under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Poonch Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman and S Jatinder Singh Johar, SSP Poonch.
Interrogation of the arrested accused person is going on and more arrests are expected as per investigations.
