Srinagar, Mar 14: Police has arrested a man with charas in South Kashmir’s Shopian district last evening.
A police spokesman said a man identified as Abdul Hamid Sheikh was apprehended during patrolling near DIET Batpora in the district.
“On his search, police recovered 330 grams of Charas. Police have registered a case under FIR number 39/16 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act against him and further investigation is going on,” he added.
