RAJOURI, Sept 18: A youth committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Sunderbani area of district Rajouri last night.
The deceased was identified as Vikas Sharma (31), son of Sobha Ram, resident of Khabbal village, under Sunderbani Police jurisdiction. The police came to know about the matter in the morning and shifted the body to hospital for postmortem. Later, it was handed over to the family for last rites.
A police official said that as per preliminary investigation, it was reported that both husband and wife had some tiff over a minor domestic issue during last night. Then Vikas went to sleep in the other room. In the morning, his body was found hanging from the ceiling fan.
