JAMMU, Oct 12: A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with fan hook at his residence falling under the jurisdiction of Satwari Police Station, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Mangal Dass (32), son of Tara Chand, a resident of Haripur, Phalain Mandal.
The dead body has been shifted to morgue of GMCH Jammu for autopsy.
Satwari police has taken cognizance in this regards.
