JAMMU, Apr 11: A man was today found in unconscious condition on Tawi river bed near 4th bridge.
According to a police spokesman, the locals today spotted a man lying in unconscious condition on Tawi river bed near Bashir Gujjar Basti situated near 4th bridge and informed the police.
“On getting information, police reached the spot and shifted the man identified as Sunil Gautam (35) son of Umesh Singh, a resident of Delhi, to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment”, he said, adding, it is matter of investigation whether the man jumped into Tawi on his own or fell accidentally.
He said that a case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and investigations were underway.
