JAMMU, Aug 30: A 25-year-old individual was found hanging from Tawi Bridge at Chatha area here today, with police suspecting it to be a case of suicide.
Ranjeet Kumar son of Uttam Chand of Arnia was found hanging from Tawi Bridge near Ring Road Chatha around 3:30 PM today, a police official said.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
While the body of the deceased youth has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem, police have initiated inquest proceedings to further probe into the matter.
