JAMMU, Sept 12: A man was found hanging this morning in his residence at Narwal.
According to a police official, the deceased was identified as Surinder Singh (50) son of Uttam Singh, resident of Chak Rakwala, Nagrota but presently he was residing at Narwal and was a running a shop of spare parts at Yard number 3, Transport Nagar, Narwal.
“The man was found hanging from an iron rod with the help of a scarf (dupatta) at his home,” he said, adding the body was shifted to GMC Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection by Narwal police.
