JAMMU, Sept 6: The dead body of a man was found hanging today at his rented accommodation in Miran Sahib area of city outskirts.
“The deceased was identified as Rakesh Kumar (35) son of Bharat Shah, resident of Bihar,” a police official said, adding, the deceased was presently living in a rented accommodation in Miran Sahib, Jammu.
The official said that the body of the Rakesh was found hanging from an iron rod with the help of a bed-sheet at his rented accommodation. “The body has been shifted to GMC Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC initiated in this connection at police station Miran Sahib,” he added.
