KISHTWAR, July 2: A man here today was found dead in a van under mysterious circumstances at Sarthal road.
As per reports some locals spotted man in a van of Eeco make bearing registration number JK-17-A-7539 along the road in Drab area on Sarthal road and they informed the Police after which Dy.SP HQ Dr Ishant Gupta along with SHO Kishtwar and FSL team rushed to the spot and started investigation.
After clearing all formalities the dead body was brought to District Hospital Kishtwar where after post-mortem it was handed over to the family members of the deceased.
The deceased was identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Tara Chand, resident of Bida Padhyarna.
Family members claimed it as a well planned murder and demanded early arrest of the persons involved in the crime.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
