JAMMU, May 25: A man was today found dead under mysterious circumstances at Nanak Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, Hardev Singh (53) son of Kartar Singh, a resident of Lane No 2, Sector 7, Nanak Nagar, was found dead in mysterious circumstances at his residence, this afternoon.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for post mortem”, he said adding prima facie it appears that the man died of electrocution but the exact cause of death will be known after the post mortem of the body.
“However, a case in this connection was registered at police station Gandhi Nagar and investigations started”, he further said.
