JAMMU, Oct 14: A 65-year-old individual was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Gole Panjpeer area here today.
Devraj son of late Gopi Chand of House number F 62, Street number 15, Rajpura Mangotrian was spotted in an unconscious condition at Gole Panjpeer area near Municipal Park around 7:20 PM by some bystanders, who informed police, a police official said.
Accordingly, police shifted him to Government Medical College Jammu, where the attending doctors declared him dead on arrival, he said.
According to the police official, the body of the deceased individual has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting post-mortem examination and inquest proceedings have been initiated to ascertain the cause of his death.
