JAMMU, Aug 30: Police in Jammu’s Bagh-e-Bahu area today claimed they have arrested one individual who was evading his arrest for the past six years.
Gul Mohammad alias Gulla of Rangoora, who was wanted in case FIR number 68/2011 under sections 382, 201/34 RPC registered at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu and had been evading his arrest for the past six years, has been arrested, a police official said.
According to him, the Special Forest Court, Jammu had issued an arrest warrant under section 512 against the accused in the year 2019.
After the execution of the arrest warrant today, he said, the accused was produced before the Special Forest Court, Jammu, for deciding the future course of action.
Pertinently, the arrest was made by a team of Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu led by Inspector Ashwani Kumar, SHO Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station.
