KATHUA, Oct 9: A man committed suicide today by jumping in front of a train at Km 42.5 down.
According to a Railway Police official, the deceased has been identified as Rajinder Singh son of Avtar Singh, resident of Chak Ramchand, tehsil Vijaypur in Samba district. He said the body of the deceased was found at about 9:57 AM at Railway Track near village Seshwan.
“The deceased reportedly committed suicide by jumping in front of Malwa Express,” the official said, adding after getting conducted postmortem at SDH Hiranagar, the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
