JAMMU, Sept 25: In an apparent case of suicide, one person was found hanging at Narayan Khoo area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Nagrota today.
Aman Sharma (22) son of late Rattan Lal Sharma of Barshala Thathri, Doda, at present Narayan Khoo, Nagrota, was found hanging at his current (sister’s) residence, police sources said.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, they said.
While the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination, police have initiated inquest proceedings to further probe into the matter.
