REASI, July 15: A young man ended his life by hanging himself from ceiling fan at his residence in Kahirlair, Pouni.
The deceased was identified as 35 years old Paramjeet Singh alias Pamma, son of Late Gurbachan Singh, resident of Khairlair. He was found hanging from a fan under mysterious circumstances at his house.
On being informed, a Police team from Police Station Pouni reached the spot and shifted the body to hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered in this connection at Police Station Pouni.
It was an apparent case of suicide, but the cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
